It is all over news! DOH (Departh of Health) got a modern way to minimize the incident of firecracker related accidents. That is they have released a freely downloadable MP3s dubbed as “Goodbye Paputok” and tagged by DOH as “World’s Safest Firecracker” which is a collection of recorded sounds of Five Star, Watusi, Super Lolo, Judas Belt, Whistle Bomb, Kwitis, Luces, and Trompillo.

It is reported that this idea was from 6 Cyclemind rock guitarist Herbert Hernandez who approached DOH and made his proposal to take part to the anti-firecracker use campaign dubbed as “Aksyon: Paputok Injury Reduction.”

How to Fix Missing PageRank and Fix on SEOQuake Toolbar, Extension

The other day, PR for my sites just turn to N/A. I am using the Google Chrome extension to view the PR of the site that I am visiting. I thought I lost PageRank for all of my site but when I check on Facebook, Google and other sites, the same N/A PR is displayed. So I did some Google searching and found out that Google made some changes on their Google toolbar and so what I did is I install the Google toolbar on internet explorer. Then I can view the PR after that.

Next is I updated the SEOQuake Firefox add-on and made some revisions as recommended by http://www.elevatelocal.co.uk/blog/fixing-seoquake-pagerank-check-06105097.

To summarize what the site recommended to fix SEOQuake on FF, here’s the following steps:

1. Go to SEOQuake Preferences window. Just right click the bar then SEOQuake->Preferences.
2. Then under PARAMETERS, you’ll see a Google pagerank option. Edit it and you will see the following line:

[URL_R]=http://toolbarqueries.google.com/search?client=navclient-auto&ch={gchecksum}&features=Rank&q=info:{url|encode}

3. Replace the search keyword from the line with tbr. So it should be like the following:

[URL_R]=http://toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?client=navclient-auto&ch={gchecksum}&features=Rank&q=info:{url|encode}

4. Restart your browser and you’ll see your PR is back.

This September 10, 2011 boxing event proves only that September 2011 is really a boxing month. Aside from the recently concluded Berto vs. Zaveck last week and the upcoming Mayweather vs. Ortiz on Sept. 17, yet another exciting match will be happening this Saturday that will surely add up to the list of great fights in the boxing history. The said fight will be the Gamboa vs. Ponce de Leon featherweight championship match. How to Update Your Samsung Galaxy Tab to Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Latest Firmware)?

Before I start the steps on updating your Samsung Galaxy Tab to the latest firmware, I would like to say thank you first to Julio - the guy that reminds me of the availability of Gingerbread 2.3.3 via Samsung Kies. Thank you man! If you didn’t told me about it, I have never update my tab and it will just rot with the old sticky Android OS. Honestly, I am about to give up my tab but after I updated it, I changed my mind and begin to love it again.

Now, let us go to the steps on how to start the update.

First, download the newest version of Samsung Kies from Samsung’s website. Me, I downloaded the latest version >>HERE.<<
Next, install the Samsung Kies.
Attach the USB Cable of your tab.
After it was detected, Kies will detect you tab if it got the latest firmware. Then it will ask you to update the firmware.
I recommend that you should not bypass the BACK-UP routine.
Make sure the batteries of the tab are full. Actually, before doing IT, there are some words of warning from Kies on what to do first before proceeding.
Then, if every preparations are properly in place, click the button to proceed the download of the latest firmware. It will take 5-10 minutes to download then install the latest firmware. Make sure that you avoid interruption with the connection of your tab to your PC so that you will avoid possible issues on the update.
Once you’re done, your tab will reboot and will show the logo of SAMSUNG and you will see the new Build Number: GINGERBREAD.DXJPI on the “About Device” of your settings page.

What’s new with the firmware? Well, honestly I didn’t try the whole features yet but the first thing that I have noticed is the responsiveness of the system compared to the previous UI. It is much faster.

I’m still checking, and testing the device again and I’ll just update this post when I found some issues regarding the update.

This Saturday, September 3, 2011 (US Time) will be a day for Andre Berto to redeem himself from his previous defeat. If you can remember, Andre Berto was the undefeated welterweight boxer who was beaten by the returning welterweight boxer, Victor “Vicious” Ortiz who also got a fight this coming September 17, 2011 dubbed as Mayweather vs. Ortiz “Star Power.”

Andre Berto will be fighting Jan Zaveck, a Slovenian IBF Welterweight champion challenging the world title of the latter and the boxing event is promoted as “BATTLE IN BILOXI.” The venue of the event is Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Well, this match is crucial for Berto for him to return to the “spotlight” of boxing and this is his ticket for another big time match. He might have also a chance to get revenge against Ortiz if he will win this match or even win an opportunity to clash against the undisputed Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is the reason why I will watch this match this Saturday (Sunday here.) The four part episode documentary series that focuses the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight will be aired on HBO Sports beginning on August 27, 2011.

Usually HBO 24/7 episodes can be watched on Youtube but the problem today is that sometimes the video search result provided by Youtube is not the real replay of the series – it’s because of the video-spam-uploaders out there.
