Why “captivating Capiz”?

You may wonder why I chose the key phrase, “captivating Capiz” for the mini-SEO contest. You may think that the government of Capiz asked me to spread the battle cry “captivating Capiz” to the whole world. Honestly they never contacted me or asked me to do this things. I chose this key phrase for the contest on my own. We (Kyubz & I) planned the contest without the key phrase yet and I only provided the key phrase the day before we released the contest. Actually this contest was not asked by Philippines Blood Registry. This idea came already before I’ve met (on the net) the people from the said organization. I only solicit from them to shoulder the cash prizes and I am really grateful to this people. That’s why I am fully supporting every mission of Philippines Blood Registry to provide a fast and free service in locating fresh blood or blood donors for Filipinos who are in need. The good cause is really enough for me to be motivated to work on this website to be known in the Philippines.

Now, the reason why I chose the key phrase “captivating Capiz” is because I want to promote the province throughout t the Philippines and to the whole world. This is my “little” share for the popularity of the province of Capiz through mini contest like this. I know that I am not a good writer nor a good speaker. I can’t use flowering words nor perfect grammar that will entice readers to understand how I believe in Capiz enchanting beauty. I just know how to tap my fingers on the keyboard and click my mouse on cyberspace. It just also happen that my love for the province is so great that the first thing that I think of was to help it to be more progressive and popular to tourists & investors.

All I am hoping right now that more of Capiznon’s will make something that will provide honor to the province and help it become one of the best place to live in the Philippines. Go Captivating Capiznons, let us prove to the world that we are something!

Mini-SEO Contest Plans

A friend of mine (at www.kyubz.com) is planning to have a mini-SEO contest this September 2008. This will be our very first SEO competition to organize since we started blogging. Originally I am planning it all alone but I can’t still afford the prizes as this time so I asked my friend that we contribute to the prizes or share the expenses for the prize. I want to make the said SEO competition very attractive that’s why we are planning to ask some sponsors but if in case that we don’t found any sponsors to take care of the prizes well we will get our prizes directly from our Paypal account. The plan is we will offer 1-year free domain registration and web hosting, some cash (about $50 or more depending on the availability of funds and incoming sponsors) plus Entrecard credits.

We are still drafting and discussing the rules and mechanics of the SEO contest. We will just wait for the Cebu Seo Contest to end before we announce the official release of our mini-SEO contest. Apart from that we are still looking for more sponsors so we can offer much lucrative prizes.
