Ray Ozzie, who replaced Bill Gates last 2006, lead Microsoft’s push to “cloud computing”, which refers to the internet-based (“cloud”) development and use of computing power in distant data centers and delivers applications over the internet.

During the keynote speech at the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference 2008 (PDC2008), Richie Ozzie during his announcement of the Microsoft Azure Services Platform, said:
