Have you noticed something strange with the Smart Communications app today? I tried checking my prepaid subscription to see what promo I’m currently on—but the app wouldn’t show it. When I clicked “Check Usage,” it just threw an error saying:

“Smart CINQ Web Service is currently unavailable.”

I thought maybe it was just me, so I went over to Smart’s official Facebook page and X (Twitter) account to see if there was any advisory. Surprisingly, I couldn’t find any announcement or update about the issue.

To make things even more interesting, a friend of mine is also having trouble. He loaded an unlimited internet promo last night, but up until now, it still isn’t working. I can’t say for sure if his problem is connected to this app error—but the timing feels like more than just a coincidence.
